Eligibility
Each line on an eligible National Lottery ticket for the Lotto Double Prize Event on 24th August 2019 provides free entry for one adult to any one film of your choosing on 25th August 2019 only. Persons under 16 years old are not eligible for free tickets.
Free cinema tickets are subject to availability and are for standard seats to view a standard 2D film - upgrades are payable for other film formats and seat types. Free cinema tickets will be offered on a first-come first-served basis.
Tickets can be booked/reserved on this site between 21st and 24th August 2019, and for Odeon, Empire, Picturehouse and Light cinemas only, can also be booked/reserved on 25th August 2019.
Claiming your cinema ticket at Odeon cinemas
To claim a cinema ticket at Odeon cinemas, select the cinema you want to visit from the selection on this site. You will then be required to enter your name and email address and to set a password. You must confirm the number of tickets your require - this cannot be more than the number of eligible entries into the Lotto draw that you have.
You will then be presented with a booking confirmation and unique code(s)/URL to the cinema specific page, with instructions on how to redeem the offer. Once you click through to the URL you will be able to select the film you want to watch, and the time*. You must then sign up to MYODEON or continue as a guest, and enter all relevant codes at the end of the journey.
Once you have done so, you will receive a booking confirmation which you must take to the Odeon cinema together with your valid Lotto ticket(s) in order to collect your cinema tickets.
National Lottery Cinema Day tickets are only available at ODEON cinemas via this site. You will not be able to claim a free ticket at the box office on Sunday 25th August.
You must complete your booking on the Odeon website for it to be confirmed.
*Free cinema ticket not valid for Premier seats, Club seats, D-Box seats, VIP seats, super luxury seats, any other premium priced seating, 3D, IMAX or ISENSE unless you pay an upgrade fee. Upgrade fees vary per cinema. There will be no seat upgrade fees in a Luxe cinema. At ODEON Bournemouth and ODEON Hatfield if there is mixed standard and recliner/super luxury seating in a screen an upgrade fee will be payable for the recliners/super luxury seats. At ODEON Taunton there will be an upgrade fee if you sit in a Luxe recliner screen. Not valid on Gallery, ODEON Event Cinema, ODEON Kids, ODEON Silver Cinema, ODEON Newbies or ODEON Screen Unseen. Not valid on premieres, special events or screenings or events not open to the public.
Claiming your cinema ticket at Empire Cinemas
Visit www.cinemaday.co.uk to select your Empire cinema and request a booking code for the film screening of your choice. One E-code per Cinema Ticket.
To book your free cinema tickets*, visit www.empirecinemas.co.uk to select your cinema and screening, then enter the booking code and complete the purchase. Alternatively take your booking code to the Empire cinema box office to claim a ticket, subject to availability.

When you attend the cinema on 25th August with your prebooked cinema ticket(s) you will need to show your Lotto ticket(s) along with your cinema ticket(s) to enter the screening. For online and app tickets, show your confirmation email or log into your account and show your ticket confirmation.
* Additional charges apply to 3D performances, IMAX, IMPACT and premium seating (VIP, Recliners, Sofas etc).
Claiming your cinema ticket at The Light Cinemas
Visit www.cinemaday.co.uk to select your The Light venue and receive a booking code.
To book your free cinema tickets, visit https://lightcinemas.co.uk/ to select your cinema and screening, then enter the booking code in the ‘Voucher’ tab and complete the purchase.
The booking code can also be used at cinema box offices on the day, subject to availability.

To book your free cinema tickets, visit www.picturehouses.com to select your cinema and screening, then enter the booking code and complete the purchase. Alternatively take your booking code to the Picturehouse cinema box office to claim a ticket, subject to availability.

Claiming your cinema ticket for other Cinemas
Advance seat reservation on this site is advised. Please note, reserving a seat on this site does not guarantee you a seat.
Take your reservation details with your Lotto ticket to the cinema box office to claim your free cinema ticket. For online and app tickets, show your confirmation email or log into your account and show your ticket confirmation.
Eligible Lotto tickets should not be exchanged for free cinema tickets but must be shown at your chosen cinema to claim your free adult cinema ticket.
You should claim your ticket at the box office at least 30 minutes before the advertised show start time. Any tickets reserved but not claimed 15 minutes before the advertised show time may be reallocated.
Cancellations
As free cinema tickets are limited, if you are unable to attend a screening, you must cancel your reservation(s) in order for them to be reallocated. The booking information will provide details of how to cancel.
Other
Entrance to a screening is subject to film age certification regulations, any rules and regulations, and any additional terms and conditions of the participating cinema.
Wheelchair users should contact the cinema directly to enquire about booking.
Free cinema tickets have no cash value and cannot be exchanged (including for gift vouchers, gift cards, food, drink or any other service).
The promoters are Camelot UK Lotteries Limited (“Camelot”) and the participating cinema.
Each participating cinema has the right to refuse entry in the event of a cinema reaching capacity, as well as under any other reasonable circumstances.
In the event of queries on the day, the decision of the venue manager is final.
