Digital National Screening
With Minari, Altitude Releasing knew they were onto a gem of a title. But foreign language films are a hard to build in the UK and at the time, people were only just starting to go back into cinemas after Covid. They wanted to amplify it to a mainstream audience.
We partnered with Sky, one of the UK's main TV broadcasters. Through Sky we reached tens of thousands of a broad demographic across the UK and offered the chance to see the film for free online before its official release. We hosted a live screening on our secure digital screening platform and captured qualitative feedback on the title to inform the marketing strategy.
7,000 users across 100 UK towns & cities applied for tickets and the film was viewed by over a thousand customers. More than half of the audience had not heard of the film before seeing the promotion and got both groups, a high majority would recommend to friends.
